The Tübingen HPSG Archive of the SFB 340 German

This page contains material about the previous Projects B4 and B8 of the SFB 340. For the most part, the documents collected here can be found together with material which is unrelated, or indirectly related, to the Tübingen HPSG projects in SFB 340 in other locations of the Tübingen HPSG pages. However, in order to enable a quick overview of the available findings of projects B4 and B8 to those interested, this redundancy seems more than justified. The purpose of this page is to offer a natural point of contact for the search for documents which go back to the projects B4 and B8 of SFB 340

The overview plan selector on the left side of the page allows direct access to the rubrics of the available archive and related themes on the Tübingen HPSG-pages. The first sections lead us to academic papers from these projects: SFB 340 technical reports, dissertations and masters theses. Other publications, particularly those published in books and journals, are not provided here for downloading, in adherence to copyright laws. A complete list of references of HPSG-papers from Tübingen can be easily found in the Tübingen online HPSG collected bibliography, which is directly available from the left hand plan selector. This bibliography, in particular, provides thematically sorted sub-catalogues, which facilitate searches for specific works. All entered papers which are not copyrighted may be downloaded.

The sections containing academic papers lead to segments with information about the implementation platforms for HPSG-grammars, ConTroll and TRALE, which were developed in SFB 340. These segements, in turn, lead to information about lectures and workshops and the Tübingen HPSG-Gazette, which appeared from 1996 to 1998. A collection of all of the proposals and final reports of the Tübingen HPSG projects of SFB 340 are always available in our archives. A separate page, accessible by the link in the plan selector, leads to information about former colleagues and gives their current e-mail addresses.

Tech Reports from SFB 340

The SFB 340 has an array of internal publications containing copious contributions from projects B4 and B8. It is here where the first editions of works which were later published elsewhere made their appearance. Additionally, some masters and diploma theses and dissertations which originated within the context of B4 and B8 were published as tech reports. Almost all of these technical reports are electronically available (by way of the html-Icons in the middle column of the table).

In the plan selector of links, you will also find a link to a list of all of the technical reports published within the SFB 340.

Dissertations

Top

Numerous dissertations from colleagues emerged within the framework of the SFB-projects. Inasmuch as is available to us, we have provided the university redaction of these dissertations in the following survey. In some cases, there are later editions published elsewhere, which have not been separately referenced here.

Master's and Diploma Theses

Master's and Diploma theses are often particularly difficult to access. Consequently, we are particularly delighted that we may provide these works here, which have, on occasion, been quoted in academic literature. They have been written by research assistants who have, in some cases, gone on to become our colleagues.

ConTroll and TRALE

Top

ConTroll and TRALE are two implementation platforms, tailored for HPSG, which were developed within the framework of projects B4 and B8. In view of the fact that work on TRALE has been continued under another current project and there is no official homepage for this system yet, we have, in the meantime, devised a link to the current TRALE project.

Grant Proposals and Final Reports of Projects B4 and B8

Top

A grant proposal must be submitted for projects in a special research program, and at its conclusion, a final report of the findings must be submitted. This documentation accordingly details precisely what was planned at the beginning of a particular project and what was accomplished or implemented in this project. It is also possible to observe the foci at various stages. The following documents are ideally suited to provide you with a quick overview of the objects of research in the Tübingen HPSG projects in SFB 340.
