UIMA
UIMA (Unstructured Information Management Architecture) is a powerful Java framework for assigning structure to every kind of unstructured information. In the context of computational linguistics, it is especially suitable and useful for processing text and structuring it in a certain way.
UIMA is highly flexible and can be adapted for any task, for example corpus annotation or machine learning. In the context of the A4 project, I first ported the CoMiC system from UIMA to uimaFit, and then to the UIMA-based NLP framework DKPro. Below you find some UIMA materials and guides compiled for educational purposes by me.
