Kursbeschreibung: Die Dynamische Semantik wurde Ende der
80er Jahre von J. Groenendijk und M. Stokhof als kompositionale
Alternative zu Hans Kamps Diskursrepräsentationstheorie
entwickelt. Angelehnt an die Semantik von Programmiersprachen wird
hier die Bedeutung von natürlichsprachlichen Sätzen als
Transition zwischen Informationszuständen aufgefasst.
Ursprünglich hauptsächlich als Theorie der Anaphorik
konzipiert, wurde die dynamische Bedeutungskonzeption in den 90er
Jahren in der Analyse vieler empirischer Phänomene im
Grenzbereich zwischen Semantik und Pragmatik angewandt und gehört
gegenwärtig zum Standard-Methodeninventar der formalen
Linguistik.
Im Kurs wird die dynamische Bedeutungskonzeption vorgestellt und
motiviert, und es werden eine Reihe von Anwendungen diskutiert.
